EHHS Schedules - Official Release
Good afternoon EHHS Students and Families:
We have been working hard this Summer to complete student schedules in preparation for the 2025-2026 school year.
We are planning to release student schedules on Monday, August 18th, at 2pm on PowerSchool. Please note that we will not be making changes to student schedules unless there is an error, a specific course that a student needs for graduation, to drop a course in favor of a study hall (assuming the student is in solid credit standing), or to add a course rather than a study hall (if a course is available).
We have worked hard to be fiscally responsible and, in most cases, did not schedule courses that did not have adequate enrollment. This is to maximize our teaching staff. Please be aware, however, that before school begins, guidance counselors refine the schedule to further ensure balanced class sizes. This process can result in a change to the teacher or period in which a student has a particular class, but will not change the course a student is enrolled in. We are also currently working to roster study halls and our Flex block.
Once released, students should continue to check their schedules prior to the first day of school to verify their schedule. We realize that student schedules may be seen on ParentsSquare/StudentSquare at this time, however, there is some changes that are taking place as we work to balance courses.
The PowerSchool Parent Portal is open for information updates. Please help us to ensure we have the most accurate information for your student this year. Parents/guardians should log-in to ehsd.powerschool.com using your parent account (student accounts do not have access to these forms, if you are unable to access your parent account please email technologyservices@east-haven.k12.ct.us.
Please click on the link below (or the PDF attached) for step by step directions on updating your information in PowerSchool.
Thank you and please be on the lookout for additional information coming from East Haven High School in the coming days as we prepare to open school on August 26th.
Respectfully,
Vin DeNuzzo
